Things To Do Orlando: Candlelight Vigil for Orlando - Walk Around the Lake

To show our city's strength, I invite you all to join me next week at Lake Eola, at sunset, to silently honor and remember the events that transpired on the early morning of Sunday 12 June 2016. The City Beautiful was victim to the largest single mass shooting in our nation's history. All I ask is one lap around the lake, starting and ending on the corner of 512 E Washington St Orlando, FL 32801, where we will leave our candles and set up a memorial. I encourage everyone bring candles, cups and or flowers to leave behind. I will personally provide about 100 but thousands have been offered as donations. If everyone brought something to share that would be nice to show our community's strength and support one another. Everyone is encouraged to bring flowers, candles, customs signs of peace (nothing political this is just as sign of love for those loss) , Flags of any peaceful Country/ organization/ branch of service, etc.
