Things To Do Orlando: Silver Spurs Rodeo and Wrangler Champions Challenge

The Silver Spurs Rodeo will kick off the start of summer with performances on June 10th and 12th! Both performances are put on by the Silver Spurs Club, a local 501(c)(5) nonprofit formed more than 70 years ago. The Silver Spurs Rodeo will include traditional rodeo events including bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and team roping. To keep our rodeo's traditions, there will be the calf scramble for the children to participate in during the rodeo.

The Wrangler Champions Challenge presented by Justin Boots is a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) event that is hosted by the Silver Spurs Club. This performance is a one-night header with the seven standard PRCA events: tie-down roping, team roping, steer roping, barrel racing (women only), bull riding, bronc riding, and saddle bronc riding. The biggest difference between the Wrangler Champions Challenge and the Silver Spurs Rodeo is that the Champions Challenge is the fifth stop of the 2016 series of eight single-round rodeo performances. During this performance, top cowboys are pitted against the best livestock and are competing for their share of $128,000 in prize money!
